Senior at Columbia University in the City of New York studying biochemistry. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Avonley runs as a volunteer EMT with her home fire and rescue station. On campus, Avonley is engaged in microbiological research and orthopedics outreach initiatives. When not in the library or scrolling Phys.org, she can be found in the dance studio, enjoying New York’s performance arts scene, and avoiding the subway at all costs.

Junior at Columbia University in the City of New York, thinking about studying biochemistry as his major. Austin was born and raised in Bermuda but spent the time he had abroad in New York. In Bermuda, he would volunteer as a certified first aider in a charity ambulance service, study mathematics online and play football with friends. Now he’s a member of a space microbiology club and thoroughly enjoys studying up on biological research and shadowing all types of surgeons.
